Get fantasy fans to sign up for DraftKings. Plain and simple.

What we did

Many things.

One: Built a franchise. “The Perfect Lineup” is a cross-platform content series giving sports fantasy fans inside info on the best players and matchups for the week. This series lived on CBS RADIO sports stations, CBS Local Televison Stations, and CBS Local Digital Media assets.

Two: Have top on-air sports talent play the game for themselves, against each other, and with their listeners to drive sign-ups.

Three: Expand DraftKings messaging into new sports and platforms, like our Play.It podcasting network and CBS Local editorials.

What made it great

You couldn’t escape DraftKings messaging if you were a CBS RADIO listener, and you wouldn’t want to. The content was seamless and real with “The Perfect Lineup”, and the passion was palpable when trusted on-air talent played the game and invited their audiences to join them. And that was just in our first year. Not bad for a rookie season.
