A Brief History

The CBS Altitude Group was founded in 2003 by CBS executives Ricard Lobel and David Goodman. Over the last decade, CBS Altitude generated close to $1 billion in revenue by creating innovative marketing solutions.

Key client partners include powerful brands such as: Walgreens, Allstate, Ford, Fiat, Cargill, MasterCard, University of Phoenix, Walmart, Hyundai, Mercedes, RDIO among many others.

A brief timeline of events:

  • 2003: Founded initially as Infinity Solutions & Beyond by Richard Lobel & David Goodman
  • 2005: The radio division of the CBS corporation was renamed CBS Radio and the group evolved to include Altitude Group (AG) powered by CBS Radio and led by Richard Lobel
  • 2011: Altitude becomes THE local engagement division for all CBS local media assets (i.e. Radio, TV Stations, Out of Home, Websites, Mobile, Streaming, Live Events)
  • 2011: Altitude awarded a W3 Silver Award by the International Academy of Visual Arts for work on the “Meet the Bermudians” campaign
  • 2012: Altitude launches Marketing Masters; an informative interview series hosted on the AG website and promoted to 60 million weekly listeners across all CBS Radio stations. Guests in the series have included the Chief Marketing Officers of Macy’s, Sears and American Express
